6/1/2023 0 Comments Ubisoft points discount![]() ![]() I don't care how many times someone beats Dark Souls, I'm not impressed until I see someone land on the aircraft carrier in Top Gun for the NES. We didn't have games like The Sims or Animal Crossing to learn how to game, we had to play games like Ikari Warriors, Castlevania, Battletoads, and Ghost & Goblins. And if you know anything about NES or Atari games you know that with very few exceptions they were brutally hard. ![]() ![]() Moving forward, I wonder how we'll get Units now? (aside from buying games on their store, also the units have a 24month expiry.)ĭude I know your comment is 6 months old and I agree with you that it's dumb to blame your generation for Ubisoft sucking, but I'm a Gen X'er and I have to remind you that it was my generation that got the NES as our first brand new console, and in my case having older brothers the Atari 5200 was my first console. Also the new overlay is just annoying, even if I disabled the in-game Notifications on the launcher, it still keeps popping up every time my friends do something like launch a game. I guess I'm just whining but I prefer the old Uplay challenges and rewards system. ![]() bro I could use those units for a 20% discount for AC: Valhalla lol). They do still have rewards there charging you Units for in-game costumes and the rewards in there are from the games I owned too, but sadly they are not free (like the Helm of Sparta Mask is 100 units. I checked their core challenges and all they give now is EXP, no units like before. Now my concern is, that doesn't seem to apply to the new Watchdogs Legion Game. Also some rewards are given to you free for just owning specific games they developed (for example getting a free AC: Odyssey charm, if you own the game, on Rainbow Six Siege). Now some of their challenges give away Uplay Units which you could use to exchange for in-game rewards. I've been playing a lot of Ubisoft games before and all their games have challenges. So I recently got the Watchdogs Legion game and Uplay updated to Ubisoft Connect. ![]()
